Here is our list of bear hunters that have hunted with us last spring.
25 clients got to lock tags onto 36 bears in the spring of 2011. This is not a list of a select few buddies. All these hunters will tell you that we have an abundance of game here. They will also tell you that guides & I work very hard for you. These I believe are very important factors.
We really do work hard for you. That's one reason we allow only two hunters per guide and even offer one on one hunts. We hunt an excellent area with limited hunters and we pay attention to the little details that make the difference, if you have been on other guided hunts you know what I mean.

The following is the starting point for you to plan your "Hunter Travel Itinerary" for your Bear Hunt. You will need a passport, apply for it right away. There are basically 4 ways to get to Bear Camp near High Level Alberta. The first option is to drive to the main camp from home. Detailed directions will be sent and the camp has all weather road access and is accessible to cars. The other 3 options require you to flight to Edmonton International (YEG) airport. If spending the night in Edmonton we currently recommend the Nisku Inn 1-800-661-6966 780-955-7744, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , www.niskuinn.com. They have courtesy transfers to the airport & freezer space for wrapped game.
Option 2. Rent a car or van. Fly to Edmonton the day prior to your hunt, drive part way that day and the remainder of the way to camp the morning of your hunt start date. Plan to arrive about 1:00 PM. It's approx. 400 miles and about 7 days rental is required, all major auto rental agencies are represented, you can check on cost by phone from home.
Option 3. A new bus company is offering service to High Level, you can check with Northern Express at 780-926-0808. Northern Services has pickup at the Continental Inn near West Edmonton Mall (780-484-7751). It may be better to stay there.
Option 4. Fly from Edmonton to High Level Alta. on a Central Mountain Air at 1-888-865-8585 / 250-877-6305 www.flycma.com on the morning of your 1st day of hunting, our staff will pick you up at the High Level airport.
-For those arriving in High Level prior to their hunt pickup will be from the Flamingo Inn (High Level) 1-780-926-8844 or 1-877-777-7610, www.flamingoinnhighlevel.ca on your 1st hunt day at 1:00 PM. They offer a free shuttle from the High Level airport.
-Our staff will drop you off at the airport at the conclusion of your hunt for the flight to Edmonton. You can depart camp when you are finished hunting.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitant to phone me.
